This beautiful butterfly and these lovely pictures have been done by some of our children this week.
When we heard the plight of Tyson the Pony, who had been abandoned in a ditch in Swanley, after being severely abused, we felt we had to support him.
So even in the holidays our children have been doing beautiful pictures to send to Tyson to brighten up his stable. More will hopefully follow this week.
Tyson is at the Second Chance Animal Rescue Center at Crockenhill. You don’t have to be part of Art on Parade to send Tyson a picture to help cheer up his day. The address is;
Stones Cross Road, Crockenhill,
Swanley,
BR8 8LT
We thought long and hard about putting in his picture and opening up his situation on our social media platforms but in the end our hearts ruled our heads and that’s as it should be in this situation.
Tyson has had the worst cruelty bestowed on him and we have rung the centre a couple of times this week to see how he is getting on. We have been told that this is the worst case of animal cruelty they have seen in 34 years of working at the rescue centre. Which is absolutely awful.
However, on a positive note since he has been at the centre he is making very small steps and slowly improving but has an exceptionally long way to go. We pray that he continues to do so.
