Arrivederci Amalfi Coast 🥰
As the sun goes down in Atrani and the Amalfi Coast I am contemplating leaving here. I have a lump in my throat, a knot in my stomach and a sinking feeling in my heart.
Leaving here is much, much more than the end to a holiday, it’s leaving our home. Tomorrow there will be tears.
A kind old man once told me that the reason why we cry when we leave here, is because we leave a piece of our heart behind. And it’s absolutely true.
Tomorrow I leave behind my beloved family and friends, whom I hold dear to me and a small beautiful part of the world that to me is my piece of magic. Unless you have family abroad you won’t fully understand just how hard it is.
I hope over these weeks that I have been here, posting snippets of life here and giving you lots of artistic inspiration and that you have enjoyed what you have seen and love and appreciated it as much as I do.
If you would like to reminisce and remind yourself or are just simply interest in the Amalfi Coast and possibly wanting to come and visit, please take a look at the blogs I have posted on my website – www.artonparade.co.uk
