๐ Our senior 11:30 group of artists were very lucky to have his worship, Jonathan Andrews, Mayor of Bromley come and sit for a portrait in September.
๐ The group work very hard on accomplishing a good likeness and portrayed his regal robes perfectly. The paintings were first sketched and then painted using watercolour. His worship was delighted with the results.
๐ He liked them so much so that he chose his two favourite paintings and these will grace his office. The two students each received a framed certificate from him and were both completely overwhelmed.
๐ The Mayor said that all the portraits captured him in one way or another and he was very impressed with their work. The class portraits are now exhibited in the waiting room at Elmstead Woods Station for all to admire and enjoy. Why not pop in and have your own private viewing?
๐ Did you know that the reason why the Mayor wears his robes? Itโs because he is the Kingโs representative for the people of Bromley. Another Royal accolade for Art on Parade!
