🇮🇹Day 18
🔥 Today there was great concern, as there were two forest fire up on the mountain tops. Yes, it had been an exceedingly a hot period and one hopes that they haven’t been lit purposely.
🚁The fire rescue helicopters spent from 10 o’clock this morning trying to dampen them both down, as they fought hard to stop them from spreading.
☔️Then, it was as if God himself looked over his shoulder and saw what was going on in this corner of his world, and put the sprinklers on. At about 5 o’clock we had a heavy down pour!
😴This helped the situation and gave us all refreshing treat, as finally, after many weeks there was a dip in the temperature. Hopefully, tonight is going to be a better nights sleep, but more importantly, precious land and habitat has been saved 🙏
